Train before you ride
Students aged 18 or above preparing for a motorcycle licence can consider the Ministry of Transportation and Communications subsidy for regular heavy motorcycle training. Complete the training and obtain your licence before December 15, 2026, then sign for the NT$1,300 subsidy at the driving school where you enrolled, as described in the announcement.
Three steps to apply and collect payment
- Enroll at a driving school offering regular heavy motorcycle training, apply for the subsidy and pay the tuition.
- Complete the course and obtain your licence before the announced deadline.
- Return to the same driving school and sign to receive NT$1,300.
The original announcement lists tuition of NT$2,800–3,700. Confirm the actual fee and subsidy procedures with the school before enrolling.
Training participants: complete the survey
Use the QR code in the university attachment to submit the requested information. The original notice writes the survey deadline as “1118” without a clear date format. Confirm the deadline with the Student Assistance Division.
